
Chad Waelchli is the owner, and head performance coach of CW Fitness. Chad has trained athletes and clients of all ages and abilities including NFL combine athletes, USA Olympic Cyclists, minor league baseball players, collegiate athletes, high school athletes, youth athletes, and personal training clients. He is the head performance coach for the Bangor High School Girls and Boys Basketball teams and Boys Soccer team, Northwestern High School Field Hockey team, and Parkland High School Baseball team.
Along with specialized and functional training, Chad annually presents reasearch and lectures at NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) conferences at the national, regional and local level, and has been doing so for over six years. He was a teacher of biomechanics, nutrition, and strength training principles at DeSales University in Allentown, PA from 2008-2009. While at DeSales, Chad served as the head strength and conditioning coach for the DeSales University Baseball team and provided training seminars for the Women’s soccer team.
Prior to establishing CW Fitness, Chad was the Sports Performance Director of Velocity Sports Performance in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Before joining Velocity, Chad was the Head Sport Performance Coach at MVP Sports Training Center in Hulmeville, PA. Prior to his work with MVP, Chad was an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Athletes Advantage Training Center in Conshohocken, PA.

Chad received his Masters Degree in Exercise Science in August of 2005 and his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science in May of 2004, both from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania . While at ESU, Chad served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wilkes University and Lehigh University and was a Graduate Assistant in the Intramural and Recreation Department at ESU.
Chad is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified SPARQ trainer (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, and Quickness). Chad played collegiate baseball at North Carolina Wesleyan College and East Stroudsburg University. While at NCWC, Chad was selected to the USA South Academic All-Conference team and the Phi Epsilon Kappa National Honors Society. Chad was an all area and all state catcher who had professional workouts with the Florida Marlins and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Chad is currently training for competitive mixed martial arts and has a record of 1-1.
